Greetings!
Lotro Nostalgia is a slow leveling group that aims at doing all of the content from 1 to 100 at level, just as it was meant to be done upon release. We set level caps as we progress where all members stop their characters, and then do all instances and challenges at that level before setting a higher cap and moving on.
The actual leveling up between caps is left to solo or on-the-fly group work. We only set a date that people should be at the cap by, as this is when we will start scheduling the new instances on the calendar, but these dates are pretty easy to hit for even the most casual of players. the project is meant to be something we do on the side, a change of pace and definitely not our main game.
Anyone is free to join Lotro Nostalgia, as long as you are respectful to others in the group and keep to the level caps set at each stage. You can join at any time as long as your character is at or below the groups current level cap.
What you will need to do...
You'll need a character of course. A new or existing character is fine.
The character must be at, or just below, the current group's level cap. You cannot be over the cap, not even by one level. If your character is over cap you will need to wait for the group to catch you up, or roll a new toon and catch them up. We unfortunately must be scrict on this point because if we start saying a bit over cap is fine, it's hard to know when to stop, and then we are not taking the challenges at level at all.

It's not a requirement, but is highly recommended you get a Stone of the Tortoise pocket item that will disable experience gain on your character. This will allow you stop at the level cap while attempting the instances and challenges of the area. Those battles are very hard on level and we will likely fail several times. However, we will still get experience that can push us over cap, and if you go over cap you won't be able to join the instance anymore. The stones are only a hundred TP at the store. Search for "Experience Disabler".
